LITTLE CREW, BRU! — SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY
Effective date: 18 August 2026
Last updated: 18 August 2026
This Shipping and Delivery Policy applies to orders placed online with Little Crew, Bru! (“Little Crew, Bru!”, “we”, “us” or “our”) for delivery within the Republic of South Africa.
This Policy forms part of our website terms and must be read together with our Return and Refund Policy. Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits any right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”), the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (“ECTA”) or any other applicable law.
1. Delivery area
We currently deliver only within the Republic of South Africa.
Orders must be addressed to a complete and valid physical residential or business address. Aramex Store-to-Door does not deliver to P.O. boxes. The customer must ensure that the address is accessible to a courier and that someone is available to receive and sign for the parcel during ordinary business hours.
We do not offer international delivery unless it is expressly made available at checkout or agreed by us in writing before the order is placed.
2. Courier service
Our standard delivery partner is Aramex. We may use another reputable courier where reasonably necessary because of parcel size, destination, service availability, operational requirements or circumstances outside our control.
The use of a particular courier is not guaranteed unless we expressly agree otherwise in writing. Any change of courier will not reduce the customer’s mandatory statutory rights.
3. Shipping charges
3.1 Standard delivery
Standard delivery costs R99 per order for qualifying destinations and parcels.
3.2 Free standard delivery
Standard delivery is free where the merchandise subtotal is more than R499.99 after all discounts and promotional codes have been applied.
The free-delivery threshold:
● applies to the value of physical goods actually purchased;
● excludes delivery charges, gift cards, store credit and other non-product charges;
● applies only to standard delivery; and
● does not include remote-area, special-trip, oversized-parcel, address-correction, redelivery, return-to-sender or other additional courier charges.
3.3 Remote, regional and special delivery charges
Aramex may classify certain destinations as remote, regional or requiring a dedicated special trip. These may include farms, plots, mines, power stations, military bases, game lodges, ports, harbours, embassies, consulates and other locations outside normal service areas.
If the courier applies an additional charge, we may contact the customer before dispatch and offer the customer the choice to:
1. pay the additional courier charge;
2. provide another qualifying physical delivery address; or
3. cancel the affected order for a refund if it has not yet been dispatched.
Free standard delivery does not waive a remote-area or special-trip surcharge. We are not obliged to dispatch an order to a surcharge destination until the additional amount has been paid or another arrangement has been confirmed.
3.4 Oversized or unsuitable parcels
The standard Aramex Store-to-Door rate applies only where the order can be shipped through that service. Oversized, unusually heavy or otherwise unsuitable orders may require an alternative courier service and an additional charge.
Where an additional charge becomes necessary after checkout, we will disclose it before dispatch. The customer may accept the charge, provide an alternative arrangement acceptable to us, or cancel the affected order for a refund if it has not yet been dispatched.
3.5 Checkout price
The delivery charge shown and accepted at checkout applies subject to the address and parcel information supplied being complete and accurate. We will not add an undisclosed charge after dispatch, except for an actual additional cost caused by incorrect information, failed delivery or another event for which the customer is responsible, and only to the extent permitted by law.
4. Order processing
Orders are ordinarily processed within one (1) to two (2) business days after cleared payment and successful order verification.
Processing time is separate from courier transit time. A business day excludes Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays.
Processing may take longer where:
● payment is pending, reversed or requires verification;
● the order or customer details trigger a reasonable fraud or security review;
● the delivery address is incomplete, inconsistent or outside a standard service area;
● the customer asks to change the order;
● an item is awaiting confirmation, is on backorder or becomes unavailable;
● the order contains a personalised, pre-order or special-order item;
● the order is unusually large or requires special packaging; or
● exceptional order volumes or circumstances outside our reasonable control cause delay.
We may contact the customer for information reasonably required to process or deliver the order. Processing may be paused until the requested information is received.
5. Estimated Aramex delivery times
After Aramex has physically collected and scanned the parcel, delivery to a main centre ordinarily takes approximately 24 to 72 business hours, Monday to Friday.
Remote, regional and outlying destinations may take longer than 72 business hours because service frequency and routing differ by destination.
Unless we expressly guarantee a delivery date in writing, all dispatch and delivery times displayed on our website, in an order confirmation or in this Policy are reasonable estimates and not guaranteed appointment times. The estimate:
● starts only after the parcel has been collected and scanned by the courier;
● does not include our order-processing period;
● excludes Saturdays, Sundays and South African public holidays; and
● may be affected by the destination, courier routing and circumstances described in clause 13.
Nothing in this clause allows us to retain payment indefinitely or removes any cancellation or refund right arising from a failure to perform within the period required by ECTA or another applicable law.
6. Dispatch and tracking
When the order is ready for dispatch, we will create a courier shipment and provide an Aramex waybill number or other tracking reference where available.
Tracking may not become active immediately when the number is created. It ordinarily updates after Aramex has collected and scanned the parcel. A “shipment created”, “waybill generated” or similar status does not necessarily mean the parcel is already in transit.
The customer is responsible for monitoring tracking and responding promptly to reasonable courier communications. Tracking information supplied by the courier is a service estimate and may occasionally update late or out of sequence.
7. Address and contact information
The customer must provide:
● the recipient’s correct full name;
● a complete physical street address, suburb, town or city, province and postal code;
● a working South African cellphone number;
● an accurate email address; and
● any access information reasonably required for the courier to reach the address.
The customer must check these details before submitting the order and again in the order confirmation.
We are not responsible for a delay or failed delivery caused by inaccurate, incomplete or outdated information supplied by the customer. Where such information causes an address-correction fee, redelivery charge, remote-area charge or return-to-sender cost, the customer may be required to pay the actual reasonable additional cost before delivery or reshipment, to the extent permitted by law.
8. Address changes
An address-change request must be sent to [INSERT SUPPORT EMAIL] as soon as possible and before dispatch.
We will try to assist but cannot guarantee an address change after the shipment has been created, collected or routed. A request sent to Aramex does not automatically amend the order with us.
If the courier agrees to reroute the parcel, the customer is responsible for any actual rerouting or address-correction charge caused by the customer’s original information or change request, to the extent permitted by law.
We will never request that a customer pay an address-change or delivery charge through an unverified personal account or suspicious payment link. Customers should contact us directly if they receive an unexpected payment request.
9. Delivery, signature and transfer of risk
Aramex Store-to-Door delivery ordinarily requires a signature from the receiver. Delivery may be accepted by the named customer or by another person at the nominated address who reasonably appears authorised to receive the parcel.
The customer is responsible for ensuring that an appropriate person is available at the address during delivery hours. A workplace, reception, security desk, residential complex office or other controlled-access point may accept delivery where the courier is permitted access and a person signs for the parcel.
The goods remain at our risk until lawful delivery has been accepted as required by applicable law. After lawful delivery, risk of theft, loss or damage arising after delivery passes to the customer, except where the loss or damage results from a pre-existing defect, misdelivery or another matter for which we remain legally responsible.
Courier tracking, proof of delivery, the delivery address, the receiver’s name or signature, and any other lawful delivery record may be used as evidence when investigating whether delivery occurred. Such evidence is not conclusive where reliable contrary evidence exists.
10. Missed, refused or unsuccessful delivery
If nobody is available, access is refused, the address cannot be located, or delivery otherwise fails for a reason attributable to the customer, Aramex may attempt to contact the customer or return the parcel in accordance with its procedures.
We do not guarantee a particular number of delivery attempts. The customer must follow any legitimate courier notice and contact us promptly if assistance is required.
If a parcel is returned to us because of an incorrect address, unavailable recipient, refusal of a valid delivery, failure to respond to courier communications or another customer-caused delivery failure, we may, to the extent permitted by law:
● require payment of the actual reasonable redelivery and return-to-sender costs before dispatching it again; or
● cancel and refund the order less any actual delivery or return cost that the law permits us to recover.
Refusing delivery, failing to collect a parcel or ignoring the courier does not by itself constitute valid cancellation. Any cancellation must be communicated to us in accordance with our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law.
11. Delayed parcels
A parcel is not regarded as lost merely because it has not arrived within the estimated transit time.
If tracking has not updated for an unusual period or the estimated period has passed, the customer should contact us at [INSERT SUPPORT EMAIL] with the order and waybill numbers. We may open an investigation with Aramex and require a reasonable opportunity for the courier to trace the parcel.
We will keep the customer reasonably informed. If the delay becomes a failure to perform within the agreed or legally required period, the customer retains the remedies available under applicable law.
12. Lost or misdelivered parcels
If Aramex confirms that a parcel was lost before lawful delivery, we will provide the remedy required by applicable law, which may include replacement where available or a refund.
If tracking states that the parcel was delivered but the customer cannot locate it, the customer must:
1. check with household members, reception, security personnel, neighbours or other authorised recipients at the delivery address;
2. confirm that the address supplied with the order was correct; and
3. notify us as soon as reasonably possible so that courier records can be obtained and an investigation opened.
We may require a written non-receipt declaration, identity verification or other information reasonably required by Aramex, the payment provider or an insurer. We may refuse a false or unsupported non-delivery claim where reliable evidence establishes lawful delivery.
13. Events affecting delivery
Delivery may be delayed by events outside our reasonable control, including severe weather, flooding, fire, road closures, accidents, civil unrest, strikes, courier network disruption, load or route restrictions, system outages, public holidays, peak-season volumes, security incidents, government action, natural disaster or other force-majeure events.
We are not liable for a delay caused solely by an event outside our reasonable control to the extent permitted by law, provided that we take reasonable steps to communicate and mitigate the effect where practicable.
This clause does not exclude liability for our gross negligence, permit indefinite non-performance, or remove any mandatory right to cancel or obtain a refund.
14. Damaged parcels and missing contents
The customer should inspect the outer packaging and goods as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.
Visible transit damage, tampering, an incorrect item or missing contents should be reported immediately to hello@thelittlecrew.co.za with the order number and clear photographs of:
● the full outer package;
● the Aramex shipping label;
● all sides of any damaged packaging;
● the product and alleged damage; and
● all products and components received.
For courier-evidence purposes, we request notification of visible damage or shortages within 48 hours after delivery. This request assists with the Aramex investigation and does not shorten any non-excludable statutory right.
Returns, replacements and refunds relating to damage, defects, incorrect items or missing contents are governed by our Return and Refund Policy and applicable law. Customers must not discard the packaging or damaged goods until we confirm that they are no longer needed for the investigation.
15. Split shipments and unavailable products
We may split an order into more than one shipment where reasonably necessary. If we choose to split an order for operational reasons, the customer will not be charged an additional standard delivery fee unless the customer requested the split or agreed to the extra charge.
Different parcels may have different tracking numbers and may arrive on different days.
If an ordered product becomes unavailable, we will notify the customer as soon as reasonably possible. We will not substitute a materially different product without the customer’s agreement. Where we cannot supply the product, we will refund the applicable amount within the period required by law.
16. Order changes and cancellations
Requests to change or cancel an order must be sent immediately to hello@thelittlecrew.co.za. We will try to assist before dispatch, but cannot guarantee a change once picking, packing, shipment creation or collection has started.
If the order has already been dispatched, any return or cancellation must follow our Return and Refund Policy. The customer remains responsible for return costs where applicable law places those costs on the customer.
Nothing in this section limits a statutory cancellation right.
17. Packaging and restricted items
We package products using materials reasonably suited to ordinary courier handling. Customers must not ask us to include goods prohibited or restricted by Aramex or applicable law.
Where a product cannot lawfully or safely be carried through the intended service, we may use another lawful service, request further information, remove the affected item with the customer’s agreement, or cancel and refund that item.
18. Important limitation of liability
PLEASE READ THIS CLAUSE CAREFULLY. IT LIMITS OUR LIABILITY ONLY TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY SOUTH AFRICAN LAW.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for:
● delivery delay, failure or additional cost caused by inaccurate information supplied by the customer;
● loss occurring after lawful delivery and acceptance at the nominated address;
● a customer’s failure to monitor tracking, respond to courier communications or arrange an available recipient;
● an indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the order was placed; or
● a delay caused solely by an event outside our reasonable control as described in clause 13.
Nothing in this Policy excludes or limits liability for gross negligence, fraud, unsafe or defective goods, misdelivery for which we are legally responsible, death or personal injury, statutory product liability, or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
19. Fraud prevention and verification
We may delay dispatch for a reasonable period while verifying payment, identity, contact details, delivery information or suspected fraudulent activity.
We may cancel and refund an order where we reasonably conclude that the transaction is unauthorised, fraudulent, unlawful, materially inconsistent, or exposes the customer, us or another person to unacceptable risk. We may retain and provide relevant order, payment and delivery records to payment providers or lawful authorities where permitted or required by law.
20. Policy updates and severability
We may update this Policy prospectively. The version made available when an order was placed will govern that order, subject to any later change in mandatory law.
If any provision is unlawful, invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down or severed only to the minimum extent necessary. The remaining provisions will continue to apply.
